Bookkeeper

Wage: $21.15 to $26.88 per hour

Term of employment: Full-time (Permanent) / 30-40 hours per week

Available position: 1

Benefit: 4% vacation pay

Job duties:

1.       Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

2.       Prepare tax returns

3.       Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports

4.       Prepare trial balance of books

5.       Maintain general ledgers and financial statements

6.       Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll

7.       Reconcile accounts

Language: English

Requirements

·         Completion of secondary school is required

·         Completion of college program in accounting, bookkeeping or related field

or 1 year to 2 years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required
