Description: NOC Code: NOC 4411 - Home child care providers

In home caregiver – nanny required to take care of three children: 4 months old, 8 and 5 years old . An easy going, responsible and dependable person is required. Location: Surrey, BC. Nearest intersection: 26 Ave and 160 St., V3Z 2W7

Job duties:
Supervise and care for the children is main priority. Caring for the baby: watching and napping the baby, help with changing diapers, feeding the baby, holding, and playing with the baby. Caring for school age children: preparing meals and snacks for the children, overseeing some after school activities for the children (e.g. completing homework, practicing piano, and doing outdoor play time/activities, doing crafts and indoor activities). Cleaning and keeping tidy the kids’ play areas/rooms/bathrooms cleaning and folding/organizing baby/kids laundry. Ensure the baby and children’s daily routines are followed as requested by the parents. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.

Experience and Qualifications :
Completion of the equivalent of the Canadian secondary school education (post-secondary education is an asset).
At least 6 months of Caregiver training or at least one year of full time paid experience as a caregiver or in a related field or occupation in the past three years.
First Aid Certificate or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate (or willing to take course upon employment)
Able to speak, write and read English. Eligible to receive work permit for Canada. Reference required.

Work Location Information
Work in employer’s/client’s home, Relocation costs covered by employer

Terms of Employment:
The job is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Days off: Saturday and Sunday. 2 weeks paid holidays, 30 minute paid meal break. Relocation cost paid by the employer.

Wage: $15.20 hourly.
