Title of the position: MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISSTANT

Job duties:

– Schedule and confirm clients’ appointments through phone calls or in person inquiries
– Directs patients to the clinic area for treatment or active rehabilitation program
– Receive and communicate messages for medical staff and patients
– Interview and assist patients to complete forms and documents
– Complete and directly bill insurance and other claim forms
– Establish and maintain various internal office administrative support procedures such as document tracking and filing.
– Determine and establish orderly office procedures and routines
– May supervise and train other staff in procedures and clinic concerns
– Invoicing of clinical records, certification, statement of accounts and other billing concerns addressed between client and office concerned

Terms of employment: FULL-TIME

The language of work: English required, and Tagalog would be helpful

Wage: CAD $23/hour

Required education: Completion of secondary education is required; Completion of a one- or two-year college program or other specialized courses for secretaries or medical secretaries is required.

Required work experience: 1-year work experience
