It is within this context that SickKids Foundation welcomes applications for the role of Associate, Integrated Brand Marketing.
POSITION STATUS: Permanent Full-time
DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:
SickKids Foundation is looking for a new Associate team member on the extraordinary, award-winning Brand Strategy and Communications Team.
The Associate will assist the Director, the Associate Directors and the Marketing Managers in strategic development and execution of marketing and communications strategies/campaigns with the goal of driving fundraising results and maintaining the number one charity brand in Canada.
The Associate will be an active participant in a fast-paced, full- service team that develops the brand equity content creation and advertising, as well as support and play a leading role on the Special Events portfolio.
The Associate will work cross functionally with various departments in the execution of project deliverables and work to ensure all marketing materials are completed in a timely manner. This position reports to the associate director of Marketing, for Special Events and SDR.
In addition, the associate will be responsible for building, executing and delivering marketing/communication services to our internal partners, and be accountable for project management from planning through to execution, including workflow and budget management.
•Provide day-to-day support to ensure the effective execution and delivery of marketingand communications initiatives that support the above-mentioned portfolios: thisincludes supporting the manager in the development and execution of advertisingcampaigns, internal and external communications plans and tactics to supportfundraising initiatives;
•Deliver updates on status of tasks, and create supporting documentation;
•Assist in the writing and presentation of creative and project briefs;
•Assists in developing strategic communication frameworks or marketing strategy decks;
•Manages aspects of many marketing projects including agency or internal creativeservices, budget, timelines, production and trafficking of assets, post campaignperformance, and managing internal and external partnerships required to execute, andis an active team member on larger scale, marketing initiatives alongside other BrandStrategy & Communications team members pending scale;
•Daily re-prioritization of competing projects for different business units – resolvedthrough constant communication and a deep understanding of organization widepriorities and resourcing available;
•Responsible for sharing developed materials with colleagues on the brand strategy teamto ensure amplification of assets and that all marketing investments are used to their fullpotential;
•Act as a service-oriented point of contact for providing requested information, marketingmaterial, securing quotes from outside vendors and suppliers and;
•Issue and circulate contact reports from meetings.
While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:
•Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field;
•Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing support role, either agency or client-side;
•Strong interest in development of marketing content and integrated marketing;
•Demonstrated experience with creative asset development production (broadcast, print,collateral, digital assets);
•Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and a willingness to learn new computersoftware programs as required;
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal);
•Exceptional organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects within tightlyprescribed timelines and;
•Detail oriented and proactive in anticipating and responding to team’s needs.
•Advertising agency experience with experience working with creative people would bean asset.

TOTAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
SALARY RANGE: $64,263 – $94,584
